Handmade paper and PGI Lemons are the most precious treasures of Amalfi and its territory. That’s why we thought, in collaboration with the Amalfi Lemon Experience company, to offer you the chance to discover both of these excellences with just one ticket.
The Amalfi Lemon & Paper Experience begins with the classic Lemon Tour, which consists of a guided tour of a beautiful garden where the prized PGI Amalfi Lemon is grown. You will be accompanied by a guide who will explain all the stages of plant cultivation and, often, you will also have the chance to see the farmers at work on the terraces. The languages available are Italian, English and Spanish.
Immediately afterwards we will welcome you to our Museum, housed in an old medieval paper mill that is still functioning, and where you will have the opportunity to witness the magic of the birth of paper.
In fact, you will be shown all the steps of the various stages of processing and the characteristics of the materials used. During the visit you will also have the opportunity to make your own sheet of Amalfi handmade paper directly.
