Handmade paper and IGP Lemons are the most precious treasures of Amalfi and its territory. That’s why we thought, in collaboration with the company Amalfi Lemon Experience, to offer you the opportunity to discover both these excellences with just one ticket.
The Amalfi Lemon & Paper Experience begins with the classic Lemon Tour, which consists of a guided tour of a beautiful garden where the prized Amalfi Lemon PGI is grown. You will be accompanied by a guide that will illustrate all the stages of plant cultivation and. often, you will also have the opportunity to see the farmers working on the terraces. The available languages are Italian, English and Spanish.
Immediately afterwards we will welcome you at our Museum, housed in an ancient medieval paper mill still working, and where you will have the opportunity to witness the magic of the birth of the paper.
In fact, all the steps of the various processing steps and the characteristics of the materials used will be illustrated. During the visit you will also have the possibility to directly create your hand of Amalfi paper.
